Become a Dignity in Care Champion

What is this?

Dignity in Care Champions form part of a network of over 120,000 people and organisations in the UK who put dignity and respect at the centre of care services. Dignity in Care Champions believe that care services must be compassionate and person-centred and are willing to do something to achieve this. As a PA, delivering person-centred care is at the heart of what you do but being a Dignity in Care Champion demonstrates to others how important this is to you.

As a champion, you will sign up to the 10 point 'Dignity Do's' - this include 'Support people with the same respect you would want for yourself or a member of your family' and 'Listen and support people to express their needs and wants'.

How long does it take?

There is an application form to complete which we estimate would take 15-20 minutes.
