What is this?
 

This is a support site for unpaid carers. Primarily it serves as a community to share practical, emotional and financial tips from those who have been carers.

There are a number of useful guides on subjects such as carers allowance, emergency planning and respite. They also host video sessions called 'cuppas' where you can meet with up to a dozen other carers. They also host blogs written by carers and sector experts.

How long does it take?

This will depend on the type of support you need. Each guide is available to read in your own time. The virtual cuppa sessions last 45 minutes and there's also a few videos highlighting and explaining the sessions that last between 2 and 5 minutes.

The blogs will have a read time estimate next to each one with most being under 10 minutes.

It's free to access the website, read the guides, blogs and join in the virtual cuppa sessions.
