Being a Great PA - The Personal Assistant Role

What is this?

This is a short video produced by Penderels Trust.  It is an introduction to the PA role and includes a brief description of direct payments, individual employers and person-centred care, as well as describing what the PA role may look like (although every role is different!). It also covers the values that are important for people working as a PA, including having a positive attitude and behaviours and treating people with dignity and respect.

It describes what you may do in your PA role, from helping someone to get dressed to attending social events with them.  It is important to enjoy your job to do the best you can, the video covers the benefits to you of being a PA too.
