The University of Leeds are looking for Personal Assistants to collaborate with them as part of a research project. The project is led by service users and carers with participants being paid for their time.
They are trying to find out what people need to help prevent pressure ulcers at home. However, you don’t need to know anything about pressure ulcers or research to take part. Through this research, they want to create useful resources, support and development opportunities for PAs.
PAs play a vital role in supporting self-care and independence at home. They are often well placed to spot and help manage pressure ulcer risk. Therefore, they hope to include the vital perspective of PAs in this project.
