Safeguarding for PAs

What is this?

This document has been put together by Penderels Trust, a charity which supports people who employ personal assistants (PAs).  Safeguarding is protecting a person's right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. This short factsheet describes what safeguarding is and what you should do if you think someone is being abused. It also includes the link to the NHS safeguarding app which is free to download and provides contact information for the safeguarding team in every local authority (council) in England.
